Garden Grove is home to one of best pho places in CA, so there's definitely some expectations for this place. Hot stone special (4/5): This caught me eye as I've never had to dip my ingredients into my pho and it seemed cool. I think this is great for people who love to portion out their ingredients, but taste wise; I don't think there's anything too special about it. Definitely recommend this place for the experience.

I think I just found my favorite new Vietnamese restaurant. Hot Stone Pho serves some of the most delicious Viet classics, including phở but in the viral hot stone bowl and bò né. I loved how everything was beautifully presented, how quick the food came out, the luxurious interior, and how every dish was a hit! Couldn't be happier with my dining experience here. Make sure you visit if you're in the mood for Viet food! What we ordered: - Hot Stone Pho Special - ribeye, brisket, tripe, beef ball, tendon - Bò Né - sizzling steak & eggs - Saltado Shaken Fries - Pineapple Fried Rice - Strawberry Matcha Latte Coconut Smoothie

I really liked: Hot stone short ribs I liked: Vietnamese coffee I think the way you're supposed to eat this is by dipping the meat into the hotpot and then transferring the soup and meat into the bowl with the noodles. I just dumped the noodles into the hotpot and the flavors were too hot go taste at first. After it cooled down, you can tell the brother has excellent flavor. Much richer and deeper than your average pho bowl. The coffee is pretty standard. Service was great, very accommodating of any requests I had and packed a second bowl I ordered to go. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Lots of space and while I came on a weekday, it wasn't too busy. I enjoyed the different experience of eating pho here!

Heard and seen many things about this place! I'm a huge Pho-natic and this one caught my considering the way it's prepared. You have the option to order just a regular bowl of Pho or the hot stone and I HIGHLY recommend opting in the hot stone as you will get the full experience of how it cooks right in front of you. Not to mention it stays hot for a long period of time so if you enjoy eating at a slow and steady pace, it's another reason to order the hot stone! FOOD Popcorn Chicken Looked and sounded good at the time and don't regret ordering. It's got a nice crunch that's not overly cooked and pairs great with just about anything. If you love popcorn chicken, you should definitely get yourself a side of this! Hot stone Pho with Ribeye and Brisket The presentation, quality and quantity is pretty much perfect, can't complain about a thing for this dish and I would order it again the next time I visit. Also you can't really go wrong with brisket! OVERALL Amongst all the food reels I see on Instagram, I thought it was going to be another hyped place that's mediocre, but I have to say I really had a great experience. Not to mention we dined in around 2:00pm which is late for lunch but there was still a decent amount of people there so if you're looking for some Pho and want to experience it in a different way, highly recommend visiting Hot Stone Pho in the late afternoon if you want to get photo/video ops. Thank you again for your hospitality Hot Stone Pho, we shall visit again soon!

In the mood to try something different, we went to Hot Stone Pho. Parking was not too hard on a Monday night since it was late. The restaurant is quite large inside and was very clean and modernly decorated. The menu is diverse, and we opted for hot stone pho, premium (i.e. regular bowl) pho, and saltado with fries to share. I ordered passion fruit juice to drink. Service was not bad, and prices were reasonable. The hot stone pho indeed came out boiling hot, with a beautifully laid plate of tendon, tripe, etc. I loved how the stone soup stayed very hot for most of the meal. You also get a choice of thick versus thin noodles. I enjoyed my passionfriit drink thoroughly as well. I definitely think Hot Stone Pho is unique. Come for the ambience, decent service, and delicious food!

The hot stone pho is a gimmick, such that it tastes exactly the same as any other pho; just separated for aesthetics. That being said, their pho is still good. The stone pot doesn't even keep the broth very warm. I also got their garlic noodles with filet mignon, which was quite good. Even my Viet parents loved the flavors and the tenderness of the beef. Wouldn't specifically crave to go here nor would I ever choose to eat here willingly, but if I was in the area, hungry, and too lazy to drive elsewhere, I know I'd get a filling and yummy meal.

It was definitely Hot Stone Pho, because the soup was still boiling hot by the time I finished! Fair price, about $18-20 per bowl but you get SO MUCH so it makes it so worth it! First, you get to choose thick (fresh) or thin noodles. I highly recommend the thick/fresh noodles!! The Hot Stone Pho oxtail/short ribs also come with sides of rib eye served raw so you can dip it in the broth and eat it however you want. The short rib was a bit hard to eat along with the pho, but I really liked the oxtail and rib eye meat. The broth was also so delicious and well seasoned, and stayed SO HOT. it literally comes boiling lol Would definitely come back to eat here again!
